I've been watching the classifieds in Arizona and hardly ever does a Bronco (in this style) have a manual transmission. :/
Just wondering if anyone has some statistics on that? :)
There was just one on eBay last week, it had the 302 and bench seat. I followed it pretty close, even though I am not in a position to buy right now. It would've been nice to have the capability of a Bronc with a stick and room for six ...
Broncos with a 5 speed are very rare. Just going by my own experience, I would say about 1 in a 50 have a manual. Before 87, they were more common, but autos still dominated.
Andy, you are probably right. Even when the one on eBay was new (it was a '93), I can't remember seeing more than one.
They're kind of like the mysterious yet fun-to-drive (no, I'm serious here) Dodge and Plymouth 5-speed minivans. They are out there, but they are VERY few and far between.

Ever seen a stick Econoline? I've only seen one ever...an 87 with a 4.9. Had that stupid SROD tranny. Would have been a lot nicer with an M5OD or even an old granny low 4 speed.
I've never seen a 92-96 Bronco 5 speed, but they are out there. 92 I believe was the last year the 4.9 was offered and that was probably more common to have a manual than the 5.0.
Years ago, yes, the tire shop where Dad worked had one; I believe it was a '79, maybe an '80. It was a really hideous pale yellow panel van. I'm guessing it had the SROD, because he HATED that thing. Motor was great; tranny, not so much.
i saw an early 90's bronco with a stick. It was cheap, had a lift, and fairly new 33's on it. but the po beat it to **** and i didn't end up getting it. It was a lot fo fun to drive, now i have an f150 std cab 5.0 5spd.
I personally have only seen one, at a tranny shop i worked at. But if you think about it, would it really be that hard to swap one in? Say from a similar year, 150 or 250 like mine?
