If you are talking stock "power assist" power steering, the same system was used on most of the trucks through 1975 (I think)....I bought all of the replacement parts for my '67 F-250 by getting the same item LMC had listed for 73-75 trucks...all fit perfect. The "gear box" plays no part in the system with the power assist, it's all hoses, pump, valve and piston.
The "Valve" does come in two varieties....I am not sure if that changes which pump you should use or not, though. Any salvage dealer should be able to locate the brackets needed....also check your local craigslist, if you have one.
The Pumps / Pistons / valves are all now available through NPD parts....some of the parts can be found with LMC.....beware though, the core charge on some of these parts is more than the cost of the part itself.
The power steering box is longer than the manual so you need a shorter column. The floor shift gives you an advantage there because you can use automatic or manual column. I don't know much about the pump bracket for a 460. I changed from a 302 to a 351W and that moved over just fine.
well the pump bracket is whats got me and what all i need under the truck
? like does the arm (can't remember what its called pitman arm i think) bolt up to the power steering box or is it just the pump, ps box and column all i need?
1967/79 F100/350 2WD's have integralpowersteering. Everything is self contained within the gearbox.
Integral power steering: There's NO separate ram cylinder or control valve.
Power assist has a separate ram cylinder and control valve. This type was used on F100/250 4WD's / Galaxies prior to 1965 / Mustangs/Fairlanes/Falcons prior to 1971.
1967/1969: Thru serial # G30,000 (1969), 2WD F Series trucks used Bendix power steering...you do NOT want this crappy setup.
1969: From serial number G30,001 thru 1979, 2WD F100/350's have Ford (Saginaw) power steering...this is the type you want to use.
Bill would know if the pitman arm is different, but I bolted my PS box in place of the manual without changing the pitman arm and I couldn't tell any difference.

Ford CAST the ID number directly onto Pitman arms, so it's EZ to ID them....if you have a parts catalog, that is.
