I have too many trucks to remember all their storys but the main reason I`m into most the 53-6`s is that Dad had a 53 F350 that I learned to drive with. I had some great times with it inspite of it being an F350 instead of a cooler F100, I drove it everywhere before getting my first driver`s licence.
Dad also bought a new red and white 67 Mercury Ranger/352/three on the tree so I`m hooked on these trucks as well.
My truck came from Colorado then to Stars Mill Georgia where I found it through a good friend. It has no rust on the cab. History is past, now I am making a future for it. It is an F-3 but will be an F-1 when I am finished with it
I gave $350.00 for my heap in 2000 from a guy that told me he bought it from a logging company. Supposedly my COE had a stake bed and hauled logs most of its life in Northern Arkansas.

Good looking F-3. I converted my F-3 to an F-1 also so if you have any questions I can help with or want to visit my gallery please do.

Looks like you did a good job cutting that frame. I did not have to cut mine because I used a IRS and did not need the hump in the frame at a specific location. I just cut off the back end and everything seems to be fitting ok. Hope to be finished by this fall. I have a complete new bed mounted and new fenders and running boards. I am going to used stainless cables for the tail gate instead of chains. Good luck and I will post pictures as I finish up.
