Summit Racing, 90" Housing for small block Ford. Do not get chrome.
I think that is a 64-68 Mustang Thermostat Housing...... but not sure
The 1962/67 221/260/289 t/stat housing (C3OZ-8592-A) is a plain jane-no threaded hole.
1968 and later is the type you want...there are (at least) three different ones.
Well baddad, they appear to be similiar, although not the same. I will take a look.
Bill, I have an 84 mustang housing now, it is not threaded for a sender. Thanks guys, Joe
Well, I meant that they are different from Ford Racing crate motor. the one that Advance has is threaded in such a manner that the sender for the electric fan I have installed would prtrude into the thermostat itself. the one on the FR motor has a raised bung that should place it above the stat. Make sense? They are both 90 degree housings, but the threaded bung is completely different.
I see what you mean now, I never paid attention to the pics as far as that aspect went. In any case, the application is a 87-93 Mustang 5.0 H.O., plus a few others.
