Axle Swap
Will An Explorer 8.8 fit the bronco. my axle is done and there is a guy selling one he bought for his jeep at 75$. please answer this for me. I have an 89 and the rear end is from a 94 explorer

Go to a few boneyards and look for one with a factory locker in it and make sure
it is the same ratio as your front axle or you will cause problemos for yourself.
Of course you could make that ex axle work with a bit of welding and what not
but NOW is the time to upgrade to either a 9" or an 8.8 with a locker.
