The 6 disc CD changer isnt working in my 98 EB. When I try to use it it either says "no disc" or it runs thru each disc but doesnt play anything. Does it need a cleaning or is something not working right? Anyone ever have this problem before?

Are you sure you're loading the disks right side up ?
My Kenwood 10 CD-changer crapped out recently. It won't eject from the unit, and won't play either. Damn shame, it's not really that old. I don't know if it's reparable or even worth it. I might just buy a new one.
This has happened to me a few times, usually during the summer months here in VA. My remedy is to remove the cartridge from the CD player; cycle the radio from CD to FM and back to CD; re-insert the cartridge. That seeems to work for me. I've heard people suggest a cleaning, but I'm not sure what constitutes a good "cleaning."
I wouldn't know how to clean something like that, unless you spray electronics cleaner in there. I'll try your method once I get the cartridge out, which is my problem.
First thing I checked was if the CD's were in the right way. xxx609, I'll try your suggestion and see if that does anything.
I figured so, but with some people you never know. Something else you might try is pull the changer, unplug it then plug it back in. They're pretty easy to pull.
