Thats normal. Im really curious about my 89. My PSD wont be on there because I got it from BC, and it was from calgary originally. The civic wont be on there because Its from Penticton originally and we seen the service records on it and bought it from North Van.
This only goes back to 1998 and onward. It does not tell you if the car has been in accidents from other provinces if the car has been brought here and registered. It also does not tell how bad an accident the car has been in, just a record of accident claims the car has been through. So those claims could be from just a minor scrape of a bumper on the door in a parking lot to a serious rollover, but does not tell you which..
It will not tell you if there are liens on the car.
It is a nice feature, before you had to take the serial number to SGI and pay a $10.00 fee for that info. That info use also give you previous owners, but I think privacy laws have stopped that now.
It is nice if your buying a car though.
