Hey guys new owner here I just picked up an 01 Limited 4X2 with 106k on it. I have been reading some of the mods you guys are doing and appreciate any insight to these giant wonders. I plan on towing so the first one will probably be the gears. I would post a pic but I guess I dont have enough posts. Nice being here. Mike

What kind of engine you got. V8/V10 gas or a V8 7.3 diesel

V10 with a 3:73 gear Might be trading up? to a 2000 Limited 4X4 with 126k

You mean 3.73 gears. And will the 4x4 be a diesel

BTW, if you dont trade up, go with the 4.30's and a v-10. It produces just as much torque as a diesel. Do the same if the 4x4 ur getting is a v-10.

The 4X4 I am looking at is also a V10 so I guess the gear swap will be my first mod. Can anyone post a pic for me.
