Ticking noise from front when turing?

Ticking noise from front when turing?
The 04 F150 in my sig started making a ticking noise yesterday on the driverside, but only when turning.(and the noise variates with speed)
I had a problem with moister in the vacuum line a while back, but that happened when I was going straight too. So I don't think it's the same thing.
I would like a couple ideas what it could be with possible fixes if you guys could through a few my way, that'd be great.
I'm thinking it could be the axle shaft, but I don't know....
