03 EB Backup Sensors

Anyone have problems with their backup sensors? Mine work sometimes and sometimes they don't. On occasion when they decide to work, nothing appears in the message center. Usually, in the message center it says backup aid and gives you the option to turn it off. This doesn't appear any more. I have visually checked the wires, cleaned the sensors, and checked the circuit breaker. What else might I look for?

Any other ideas, besides take it to the dealer? Anyone else with a similar problem, and if so, what was it?

I have the 2 sensor system. But, there is something there in the middle of the bumper because the wires behind the bumber run to it.

There is a radar sensor behind the facia (plastic bumper cover) that was discontinued early on. Do a search of my posts and you'll see what I mean. (I'm pressed for time right now)

backup alarm problems

I have a 2004 F350 SD Crew that has devbeloped problems in the last month.
Works sometimes (rare) but flashes on/off in reverse.
Have 4 sensor system.
Tried to locate fuse, anything of help in manual, to no avail.
Let me know if you find a resolution.
