Finally got it in. Only took me 6 hours to get the turbo out (haha god that was h*&% ) Anyway, it screams like no other! I owe you guys the world i would never have tackled this job alone. I recommend this mod for everyone.
i'll tell you one thing, on the up-pipes, WD-40 is your best friend especially if the turbo has never been out. All in all, its not hard just frustrating so don't lose your cool. (O and do the foil delete while you got it if you havent already; it makes a world of difference)
Ya my truck has 281,000 and the turbo hasnt been off in ...Well not anytime i can remember. I plan on stocking up on some PB and WD-40! and not to mention some cold ones!
Forgive my ignorance but what is a wicked wheel? I see that it is something that mounts on the turbo its self? I have a 99psd dually with 4 in straight pipe from the turbo back and it sounds just like that one in the you tube video. It gets quite a bit of attention pulling hills with a good load on.

if I have one from the factory why do I still get that surge at high boost pressures pulling heavy loads. I have a 12k 5th wheel that I pull and it will surge do you think replacing the wicked wheel take care of that issue? thanks for all the help glad I found this site you guys definately are ford guru's
