How many miles do you drive your Excursion a year? I bought my EX 15 months ago with just under 50,000 miles and hit 88,000 today that is about 30,400 miles a year. WOW that’s a lot of diesel!
I am 2/3 through my third set of tires.
...at least I HOPE they last another 10K miles

Hehehehe.. I bought mine in mid Dec with 100050 Miles. I now have 100856 Miles. 806 Miles in a little over 2 months and that includes about 620 miles in one single trip !!!!
The 2000 Excursion was bought used on 11/15/03 with 104K miles and now has 184K miles. 15K miles per year average since bought. The original owner took delivery Feb 00 and traded Nov 03 so he put 22K miles on per year.
My wife uses it has her daily driver and we take in on trips.
The 99 F250 on the other hand was bought 8/15/01 with 40K miles and now has 253K miles. 27K miles per year average but since buying the 99 F350 the use has been limited, that truck is driven 1K miles per month.
There were a couple years that I put 50K miles on the F250, figure half it's use for the past 15 months and it wasn't used except for fishing trips for the first year it was owned.
Bought mine in Sept 99 and I have 160K now. Slowed down a lot from the first 2 years where I avg 30k. Glad I am not driving like that anymore with diesel being 3.61/gallon. Rumors have it going to 4 by summer.
