I see the point that is trying to be made .. if the tires slip and then grip repeatedly because the truck doesn't have enough power as apposed to just being lit up it could cause wrap (i see something from my engineering classes about kinetic and static coefficients of friction being applied there somewhere ) . But the more prominent reason for the wrap is usually added leverage (moment about a point! wooohooo using something I learned from school) of the blocks on the spring pack.

i was thinking the same kinda thing.....
man i had the unbalanced cd before.. it was a cheap walmart cd.. it shook the player right out of the dash, landing on my gas pedal, causing my truck to accellerate to 58 MPH and getting me a speeding ticket in a 45 mph zone. the cop also sited me for fauly equiptment because of the cd player
