I'm planning on purchasing an extended cab Pre and restoring it to better than new. My concern now is the engine. I plan on either building an EFI 347 Stroker, or an EFI 393 Stroker.
Which will be easier/better to build up? There's probably a TON more parts for the 302, but I really want the 393!!!!
Also, anyone who has upped the performance on their EFI 302 or 351, I would love to see pictures, build up threads, advice, anything you can give me. Thanks in advance!
Most of the good aftermarket performance pieces like heads, cams, and intakes are available for both Windsor motors, so starting with a 5.8 is the way to go IMO.
