help

hi guys i was hoping somone can give me some ideas cause im lost i have a 92 f150 and when im driving i keep hearing a clicking poping nouse coming form my back end but its really only when i push on the gas.

Do you hear a clunking when you put it in gear or switch from drive to reverse?

could be u-joints or rusted suspension.

many things could be loose back there.

yes it does cluck and just right know i put it reveres and backed up and when i went to put it in drive i heard a pop and know it wont go in any gear the **** just moves around so im stummed

I was backing up and when I put it into drive the shifter poped out of gear and now the shifter is just hangin there and now the truck wont even start. I have an idea of what it might be, but not sure. any help would be nice.
