79F150 460 scrapped

Yeah we did.I was reading in the tips/tricks not to ever part one of these, well we did two weeks ago and i wonder what we left on that was a mistake? We took the engine, trans, shaft, rear end, power steering box, cooler, tilt steering, radiator.Thats about it.
The truck was wrecked and rusty so not worth a resto beleive me.
I know where theres another i want to get and want to know what we let go??

Sounds like you let go of an old junker, not much more you can do. What makes me mad is when somebody parts out a nice truck to fix a POS like the one you scrapped.

Yeah ya cant save them all. Always take whats good and get rid of the rest. Thats usually how a project recoops some of the money it takes to build it.

I have seen a few tilt columns, installed one in my 77, found the setting where I liked it, left it. I looked at it one day, it was set exactly where a non tilt wheel would be. Unless you are a big person, tilt is a waste.
