Manifolds only

i have a slightly modified 6 cyl/300 (intake carb etc) that i am done everything except exhaust. I put efi dual manifolds on it and i have always been told that i shouldnt start it without exhaust, but i have been hearing different. Anyone know whether it would potentially hurt the motor if i started it now?

Thumbs up

Don't worry about it, you won't hurt anything running straight manifolds.

Running straight out of the cylinder head can burn your exhaust valves in some cases, but running straight manifolds or headers won't hurt anything but your ears
