I've been looking around trying to find some hid headlights for my 77 f150 and have found nothing. i have the sealed halogen lights but they're just not cutting it for me. anyoone know where I might find an hid conversion kit for my truck?
www.rallylights.com for a Hella E-code conversion then a Prolumen 5000-6000k kit
It is also imperative to make sure they are aimed perfectly as non-projector lights tend to scatter HID lighting in a bad way and blind other drivers. It would be best if you could find a projector to fit and H6024 conversion.
I searched for HID sealed beam and found a conversion kit that was $40 for a pair. I'm not sure if this includes the bulbs or the ballasts for them. If not, which bulbs would be best? I've noticed that there are many different types of HID bulbs so how would I go about choosing the right ones for my truck?
I've heard of people with 7" round headlight vehicles converting to HID systems from the Hummers. There might also be some round-light Jeeps available with them also. Those Bosch conversions are no different than any of the other halogen conversions out there - not true HID.
I just looked at that website and found sealed 7 inch hid lights for 439. my only question would be what to do if they ever burn out? would I have to replace the whole thing like I would with sealed halogens?
