Ok, now you went and done it. I also have a super chip and have been biding my time till I get a DP or TW. But what you guys have just been saying is giving me more reason to pull the plug and get the big gun sooner than later. It helps to hear what the difference in performance is from someone who has experienced it.
What setting were you running? I was running the redline tune for kicks one day, it spun tires like the 80E setting does thats what I was basing it on.

it was on the highest setting,powerwise it was a little more than 40T but shifting still sucked
So I took JWs advice and got the DP
I had been running hypertech which was about the same as superchip
I ran the Superchip for 4 years in my truck before I found FTE. Now I have the DP-TUNER and stop. OK I can't say both in the same sentence because my 60t has more power then the performance tune in the superchip. I keep the superchip to read codes and hold down my papers in my shop.
The difference between the two is to much for you to understand without riding in a real tuned truck.
i've had a ts chip, a hypermax stacked with a banks six gun, and neither setup compare to the dp tuner, i've also riding in trucks with superchip, d'fuser, and predator stacked with hypermax 90hp they all can't compare also, i will say out of everything else other than dp or tw chip i'd buy a hypermax chip over superchips and the rest
Yea i kinda played around and wasted money too. I had a superchit at first, then got a bullydog power pup, then tried the bullydog 6 pos, and then the ts perf. 6 pos. and drove my buddies 00 with edge evo stacked with banks 6 gun and now just got the dp.... NONE of those chips even compare to the DP. They all help (for lack of a better word) but none RUN like the DP. Would never go back to a single one of those.
Speaking of that, i have a superchips and TS for sale if anybody wants one...

Put your superchips up on ebay, I had one once and got like $250 for it when I sold it. People go crazy for those things on there.
Dude Dp tuner hardly does anything. It only gives 140 RWHP.
First of all....welcome to FTE! You'll find a whole world full of great reading and mods here. Now back to this post.......I just made the change from Superchip to DP Tuner about a month ago, and I will tell you that the MAX performance setting on the Superchip is less then the 60 tow setting on the DP. NO COMPARISON! The horsepower increases listed on the DP are TRUE RWHP.....not just some claim that it gets "250hp" or whatever stacking chips "claim" to get you. It's just a bunch of BULLLSCHIT. DP isn't even in the same class as Superchips, it's far and above it. You will freak when you feel what 120 race, or 140 SMOKE feels like with a DP. If you are serious about modding your truck, ditch the Supercrap....get a real chip. I should mention that Tony Wildman's tunes are just as good as DP, just not quite as popular on here, but they are insane also with power
