Yeah, I have a dislike of wasting my time sitting in line, so I haven't bothered. The only time it's ever presented a problem is when I try to file taxes electronically, so I don't feel the need to deal with it.
Furthermore, who knows what the proper documentation is? If a person who's not dead can't get it fixed, even though they show up at the SS office, what hoops do you suppose I'll have to go through to prove that I was born on a different day then they say?
It's just not worth the trouble...

That's almost a good idea, only I'm not a CA resident, therefore I have no CA ID. I'm still a Montana resident, so it'll have to wait at least until I go back up there...
