On a stock injector 49 state emmisions truck 60-70 hp is the top HP gain from just a chip. Thats all the injectors are capable of supporting. More fuel is needed above that. NO chip of any shape or form on a stock 49 state emmisions truk will go higher than that. Now Banks when they quote the 120HP gain they are using a California emmisions truck that has larger injectors then the 49 state models.
Banks hard parts (intercoolers, turbo housings) and even their chips are decent stuff but they are WAY over priced. Their intercooler set up is nice but there are much better setups out there. Their chips are mild. All in all Banks is a waste of time and money! One thing that kills me about Banks is that they use a drop in K+N filter. That is really bad!! For you new guys don't use a K+N drop in filter. You need to get rid of the factory air box ASAP!! It leaks dirt no matter what filter is in there.
