The oil analysis looks good. Looks like you have been doing a good job. That truck will last a long time with OA like that. jwhitetail whats the catch.
IMO your engine looks great. Your wear numbers are great and your engine is just fine. Whatever you are doing is working out well.
I only have one issue, and it does not in any way reflect the condition of your engine. Your engine looks great and the wear metal numbers reflect that.
This might be a little nit picky and technical but the numbers on your oil viscosity to not match up on your blackstone report. Blackstone is reporting a 73.3 SUS viscosity at 210*F and a 13.82 CST viscosity @ 100*C. Both of these test results are within a 40 weight oil specification, but do not equal each other on a comparative viscosity chart. Does it matter in your situation? No. I just noticed the discrepency on your report. A 13.82 should be under 70 on a comparative viscosity chart.
I'm sorry to be picky, just seemed to be an odd reading when they should be closer. But, the bottom line is - both results are within the 40 weight oil specifications and your engine wear numbers look great. Keep doing what you are doing because it is working for you.

Thanks for the feed back and links. The SUS and cST is something that Blackstone does not elaborate on in the enclosure that comes with the report, or on their website. At least I couldn't find it. Now I know .
With the silicon as low as 4, your air filtration looks great also.....
This was a surprise to me considering up until November of last year I was still running OEM intake (early 99 fender well intake). I put on a lot of miles running around on dusty forrest roads on this oil as well. AZ is a very dusty place much of the year, even on paved roads.

Its not that your silicon level was low. It was the fact that the oil was not in long enough to see the normal silicon levels of say, 7,8,9 or 10. With 5,000 miles on the oil you would have averages probably around a silicon level of 7. Which is still good! Should see better with the stock intake off, like around 6. I average 8 with the 6637.
