Instrument Cluster
I got an instrument cluster on ebay. It was out of a 95 Powerstroke and my pickup is a 94 IDI. It seems to work other than the tach says I am idling at 2750RPM's, which I am not. Is there anyway to adjust this? Or should I just send it back to the guy?

I have little experience with Strokes, but I do believe that all the dash info comes through the ECM (computer) on the Strokes.
If that is the case, the cluster is probably not going to work on an IDI motor.

switch the tach out of your old IP and you should be good to go.. the tach signal in a stroke comes from the ecm the rest of the IP should be the same.. also may need to swap the printed circuit out..

Yeah, I changed out the tach from the old cluster but considering that was what I wanted to replace that did not work out so great. I told the guy on ebay that the part didnt operate in my setup as he said it would and he got pissed, so I just let it go. I basically gained nothing by spending the money except a less worn looking cluster......oh well....
