Cargo Bed Lighting Strips

does anyone have experience with these, and can you recommend best brand?
Do they screw on to the bedliner or stick on, and in danger of falling off with a heavy load of luggage?

I've got the RECON ones. They stick on using 3m tape and have come with screws. I just used the 3m tape at first thinking there was no way that the tape would hold onto the texture of my bedliner. But, they've stayed on just fine.

looks cool! Has anyone connected something like this to the dome light circuit?
What colour wire, where is it & where is the best place to bring the wire through to the bed?

has anyone seen any more reasonably priced sets of these? In Canada they range from 100.00-250.00.
Can buy a pretty good rechargeable flashlight for this, leave it in the cargobox & have money leftover for beer & dinner out!! ;-)

Does recon tell you how to connect them to power. Ive been thinking of something like this for a while. But think I would rather have a switch in the rear somewhere vs in cab.

Nope, no instructions, no switch. Just two strands of lights. I used jamb switch on my bedrail so that when I open the tonneau they come on.

Well im not much of a electrician so if I wanted to put in a rocker switch in the bed area what would I have to do to make them work...

On another note I found these and they are 20.00 cheaper.

How did you come out of the bed with the wire? I hate the thought of drilling holes in the metal.

Also, what kind of liner do you have? I'm curious to know if the tape would stick to the Line-X I have,..........and the stupid heat we have in GA.

I have a line-x as well...and live in Houston. Haven't had a whole lot of heat since I installed. However, they can be screwed in as well.

I ran the wires up under the bedrails out of sight and ran them down the holes in the back of the bed near the tailgate.

Thanks. I'll take a peak this afternoon at mine. Did you put some type of a switch besides the jamb switch inline in the event you take your top off? I have an Undercover and do take it off from time to time.
