I couldn't find any pics on this forum of the Under Rail Bed Lights so here some are. I put them in yesterday. Fairly simple and I was impressed by the amount of light they put out. I've got an undercover tonneau cover so I just put a jamb switch on the bed rail so when I open the cover the lights come on.
It's a kit from RECON. There are four LED pods on each string and it comes with two strings. Each pod has 6 white LEDs. I considered hooking it up through the interior illumination switch so that it would come on when I opened the doors or hit unlock on the key fob...but the jamb switch was easier than tapping the dome light wire.
Each one of the pods comes with 3M tape on the back. Just peel and stick. The wires run up under the rail so you really don't see anything but the light. In case the tape doesn't work each pod had a screw hole so that you can fasten with screws. I really didn't think the tape would sick to my spray in bed liner's rough surface but it did...a little too well. Once you place them on there they ain't movin'.
I wish I had seen them prior to me installing the back-up (fog lights) on the back of my truck. I don't like the looks of them (mine I mean). I had thought about moving those lights in the bed somewhere or in the tool box.
