bad GPR

bad GPR
i went out to start my truck with no luck, cranked it after letting the gp's hit for a while and nothing, so i jumped the GPR with a wrench, while holding it there the engine cranked over a half rev and a loud bang came from the stacks, the truck runs fine but could there be any new problems from this, it may just be that it is so damn cold but there seems to be a little extra blue smoke than there may have been before. thanks
