So far so good but still some problems to work out has enyone heard of a code #P132B it came after three other codes p0401 , p0403 , p0405 and these are all related to the egr . Could this be the reason for no power and the shaking at 50 mph! I cant find anything for the p132b ! Possable it is a curcuit prob!!!?

I farmed this information from "another" site...

The P132B code usually show up after the 06E17 flash with after market stuff on them or leaky stock stuff, up pipes, map hose, CAC boots, sub par turbo. The 06E17 flash disables the EBP sensor and relies heavily on the MAF sensor thus the incompatibility with after market intakes. Many of the after market intakes relocate the MAF sensor slightly and it messes up the signal. Yes the oil type filters can raise cane when the oil gets on the MAF sensor.

AND

Loose the AFE air filter, reinstall the stock one and the code will probably go away.

Thanks for the info but i think that the stock filter is garbage it has a gap in the bottom left hand side and it sucks dirt in real bad, I know this because my turbo had chunks and knicks in the vanes on the intake side and after i installed the afe and new turbo seems to be good . Now i know it actually does nothing as for power gains but it is easier to clean than to replace ,man that thing is a pain in the booty to change ! So do you think my egr valve is causing the truck to shake at 50 mphs ?

With three flow related EGR codes... Yes, it's possible. RU getting a lot of smoke? Do you still have the same turbo with chunks and nicks in the vanes on the intake side? That'll kill ya! My opinion is buy a non leaky stock intake, replace the dinged-up turbo and replace the EGR (or delete the thing).

The EGR valve will do the trick... I'm still supporting my stock intake position. Look on craigslist.org for a replacement.

Anytime... BTW, The "solenoid valve for the electronic waste gate" is not for a waste gate... The variable geometry turbo does not have a waste gate. The solenoid that your speaking of controls the variability to the pitch of the impellers, and could also be keeping your turbo from boosting at all. Do you have a boost gauge? Are you getting any boost?

I'm still don't understand the waste gate discussion. I did not think that we could/should get waste gates for these VGT's. Are you sure that it was a waste gate? And if so, maybe the computer does not know how to control the new system? I don't know much on the turbo and the controls (definitely interested in learning), but what you posted seemed confusing to me.

well mark i was told from ford when i bought my new turbo ( and i got a really good deal ) they told me that the turbo does not come with the silanoid valve in it ! That valve is what moves the vanes mine has nine in the exhaust side of the turbo so i gues in a sence it is a waste gate for exaust and i think for back pressure as well ! Now im not a deisel mechanic and dont claim to know what i am talking about thats why im in this forum, but i took my turbo out myself because when STEVE COURY FORD put the heads on my truck for the second time they did not hook up the pipe that goes to the egr cooler and i had no power , so with no warranty left $%#k FORD ill fix it my self and when im done im trading it in for a DODGE lol sorry to vent but im putting way too much money in my truck!! just make sure that if you ever take your truck to a dealer make dam sure they put the problem in writing even if it is under warranty !!!!!

RMoore - thanks for the explanation, I understand now. Sorry to hear about all the troubles. Sounds like the dealership service dept. was a little sub par. Hopefully someone can pick up from here and get you going.
