I find prices are better than average, parts are average quality but forget about helpfulness. If you don't know what you need before you walk in you are doomed, I usually do a bit of research on the internet first to make sure I am getting the right part and what I should have to pay for it.If I want people who have a bit of experience I usually go to Auto Parts Plus or Napa.
There is only one store like that here, but it all depends on who you talk to there. there are only a couple of people i will deal with at all. It all depends on the store. They know me by name and truck at the 2 partsources i deal with
The 8th St Part Source location for the most part isn`t bad.
Napa appear to be abit more knowledgeable and much better 50`s-60`s parts availability.
Too bad they`re way cross town, not a problem unless I`m in a hurry.
The big problem with stores like parts source, and napa is the lack of knowledge. I have a brother in law that is a perfect example. Hes a good guy and all dont get me wrong, but he knows squat and he has been a parts counter guy for a few years now.
Its hard these days to get good knowledgable help.
there is no partsource here, but i agree with prep. these days help is hard to find in those places. the computers ore only as smart as the person sitting behind it, and thats a sad situation.
Lol i have had good experiences there decent prices especally when a sale is on helpfulness oh yeah pretty good for the times i been there quality of parts average i guess
