Missing Due To Timing Chain?

I have a '73 351c 2v. It starts fine however while driving at a constant speed (+/-) 35-50mph I notice a miss. While checking the timing it doesn't jump around. Is it possible that the timing chain/gears are bad and I notice it only while it's under a load? I know their are many other things that can be the cause, but this is just an idea.

If that's all it's doing I dought that it's the time chain. Could be bad spark plug/s, vacuum leak. carb problem, Vac advance. I would start with the easy stuff first.

It could be the Vac advance, I just installed a new distributor. And honestly I can't say that I noticed "That" problem before. Would it be that it's not working or just needing adjusted?
