Exhaust
Does a f150 with a 5.8 sound decent with the muffler removed and the 2 cats still there? I was thinkin about just unbolting the muffler this weekend and i want to know if its worth my time. Any input will be appreciated.

My friend had his set up like that and it rumbled a little and actally had an exhaust note to it. It sounded alright. What he did was put a Y pipe after the cats and then ran dual 2.25 inch tailpipes with 3 inch exhaust tips. I would use 3 inch or bigger tips. I have 3.5 inch tips on mine. If you don't run tips, it won't be nearly as loud.
