I bought some tonight and will install them in the morning. (original blades worn out).

The rear wiper was not properly wiping on my '05. The rear arm was replaced by the dealer under warranty and now it works perfect so I would say the issue is definately with the wiper arm.

Replace both and you should be good to go.

Rob, i found out the wipers. They are bosch icons. Before i had them, it left some water on the top half of the window like all of the other ppl explained. I put them on and that problem went away for me. They were only like 20 dollars, well worth the price.

Well I guess I'll go get some Icons and rebuild that wiper arm when I have time next week. Thanks everyone.

Matt, on a side note I never got to read your PM. Apparently I was "punished" for being part of the AWOL thread by having my PM system froze temporarily and ultimately deleted . Oh well; shotgun deplomacy I guess.

I may just try the Icons on the Ex. I have them on the Cobra now. I did not know (or never checked) to see if they made them small enough for the back.

My rear wiper does not wipe right either...I asked when it was under warranty and the Tech said it was fine. I guess I don;t quite understand how wipers should work. Good thing I'm not smart enough to be in the business, huh?

Matt, try them, it fixed the problem for my back window.

Okay...so I'm gonna switch to the Icons. I like 'em on the Cobra.

I stop at Pep Boys (Please don;t ask why...I'm still asking myself this very question) I measured mine, in the event that the book in the aisle is missing.

Well, the book is there and it does not list a rear for the Ex, but never fear...I have my measurements here. (Of course the little touch screen dealie doesn;t work either.)

They have 17s for the rear and 20s for the front...BUT...there is an "A" and "B" version of each. Of course, the clown at the store doesn't know what day it is let alone the difference between A & B.

Can someone shed some light on this?

I believe that the difference is the mounting. Different mounting system on different cars.(some mount on a stub and others over the end) Best thing is to take one wiper off the X and take it inside with u and match that way.

Okay guys....according to what I have found out on line...the difference is how muc the blade itself "curves".

Apparently an "A" blade is flatter than a "B" blade and the difference cannot be noticed until they are both allowed to relax out of the package. Hence, a B blade is often specified for the passenger side of the vehicle where the blade would have to bend more. Makes sense I suppose....the driver's blade starts working in the middle on the flat and is vertical on the side where the glass curves. The passenger side needs to start at the edge of the glass.

They say the B blade causes more pressure.

I suppose a B for the pass side, A for the driver's side...an A for the flat back window. We'll see how these work out...I think Advance or Auto Zone has 'em on some sale. I'll check the flyers this morning. Film at 11.

I had bought complete replacement blade by anco and the arch in the blade was shallow replaced it with a michlin blade and the arch was deep. So I think everyone should watch out for this.

OK now, so when I go buy my Bosch Icons this PM,or tomorrow,I'll need to get an A and a B for the front in a twenty inch and an A in a 17" for the rear..( Just double checking here as I am usually kinda slow this early on a Sunday..) May just get front ones as I don't normally use the rear view mirror as there is usually a trailer back there and after 30 years of driving a step van and ten years of a school bus w/o one, same thing.. Yes there is a rearview mirror in a schoolbus, but it is basically used for watching what the little darlings are up to..
