aod TC

im swapping in a new 5.0 engine into my 74 f100. i plan to keep the c4 i have now as it only has about 2k miles on the rebuild. the flex plate i have for the 5.0 has a 11.5 bolt circle and the TC on my c4 has a 10.5. Obviously i cant use the tc i have now with that flexplate, but i do have the AOD tranny that came with the 5.0 can i use that tc on my c4? im pretty sure they are both 26 spline so it shouldnt matter on that part, but is there any major differance in the two TCs? im trying to keep from having to buy a new TC or Flexplate.

I don't think an AOD torque converter is going to fit on a C4 input shaft. The AOD is a lockup converter and has more shafts/hubs that need to engage than a C4 input shaft has.
