Tire Question
Hey, I have a question about a 1993 Bronco. Its the XLT model and has the 351. I'm kinda looking into buying it. I already have a 1995 F350 w/ 35's, but I'm not so familiar with the Broncos. This truck as 6in of suspension lift and 3in of body lift and bushwacker fender flares. Right now it has 35in TSL's on it but I was wondering if anyone has any experience running 37's or 38's with the same lift setup. I'm not concerned about anything about running bigger tires because this won't be my daily driver, I just want it to take wheelin. Anybody's input helps. Thanks.

You dont say if the flares are "cut out" flares. I have a 6" lift with cut out flares and run 38's. (you can check out my gallery) Thats with no body lift. I have minor scraping at full turn on uneven surface. I would think a 3" body lift would about equal the cut outs. If your's has cut outs, you can probubly run 44's. But you better beef up the axles. (even for the 38's)

Like helrich said, you could fit some pretty large tires(42ish), but with the stock D44 TTB I would not advice going over 35s which is basically the max for that axle if you actually want to use 4wd.

what gears are in the bronco right now? find this out before purchasing it. if they are still stock or anything less then 4.56 i would pass due to the stress both the engine and tranny have sustained in trying to move those large heavy tires.
