Hey, thanks a lot.

It says I need a 22 teeth driven gear, but naturally Ford only has 20, 21, and 23 teeth gears...

Would it be better to go one up or one down?

I "think" the 20 tooth is the closet match to your 8 tooth drive gear. Maybe someone else will chime in.

20? Are you sure?

I put in all my info and it came up with 22.39289853004139 teeth... Why would I go with 20 if they offer 21?

No I am not sure . Thats why I put "think" in quotes. Logic leads me to believe that the gear needs to have an even number of teeth to run on a 8 tooth drive but, it could be acceptable with plastic speedo gears.

Thanks for the help, Banjos.

I just think it wouldn't matter whether its odd or even, the gear will just be slightly bigger as long as the spacing between each tooth was correct...
