Warranty

I'm told putting a plow on voids the factory warranty. Is this true? Even if the dealer installs it they claim it voids any and all warranty here. Which I find hard to believe. I guess a POS Dodge warranty their trucks for plow detail. Not that I have a new truck or am planning on one any time soon. I'm curious as to what gives?

why would they sell a plow-prep package and not warranty the truck????

I'm going by what a local snow removal company told me. The bought a brand new Superduty a couple seasons ago with the prep package and the warranty was voided due to having the plow installed. I mean WTF! By the best truck on the planet for this kind of work and it voids the warranty? What say you guys that plow with new trucks this year?

now I am gonna have to get my manual out and read that whole paragraph on snow plowing dont see why they wouldnt. I probly got close to 400hrs on this thing in the last 2yrs been working it hard lost 1 alt .normal service ,oil,tranny oil,brakes reg stuff. truck works great
