Wicked Idle Problem
My neighbour has a F250 Superduty 4X4 and the idle is through the roof. If you unplug the throttle positioner, the idle goes down to normal. He has just replaced the TPS less than 24 hours ago and it still does the reving thing. Could it be the idle air control that is the problem or something much bigger?
Do you have to take the truck to the dealer to clear trouble codes and reset the computer or can you do that by disconecting the battery?
Any info would be awesome!!
