WOW! Most highly populated areas don't run X-Band around here.. Must be a budget issue and cost of equipment.. In Texas the K-Band is generally local cops, KA and Pop Gun by DPS State Troopers and Sheriff's normally have KA and Laser..

Well pretty similar situation up here except X-band being alive and well, only thing I can think of other than budget crunching is the police going old school to trick those with detectors. I mean, I've never seen X-band in a wide open area, ALYWAYS a ******* cop hiding in an area with remote doors and such.
I've only seen POP once. LASER is typically only used when the conditions are favorable, and the rest of the time it is Ka. No matter how good your detector, it'll never outsmart a tricky cop that only turns his gun once he has a good fix on you... the detector is noce but i am still a firm believer in using your eyes.
For sure.. I don't use the radar to get away.. Honestly if I wanted to not get caught, I'd take a fish finder and mount it behind my bumper LMAO.. Course if I get caught, thats one HELLACIOUS fine down here!
DUDE my truck has vent visiors and i think they work great even got them over the back side windos . they dont look bad on red probly be allmost stealthy on darker color
I,ve tried the thing with the fish finder,--wont work,,A close friend of mine is a ky state trooper .one day we had him bring his car by and several of us ( all diehard bass fisherman with every fish finder, locater, flasher Known)tried all that we owned and none of them made anything happen.
Tell the wife that you want the vent visors to knock down the wind coming in the window seals....... Also, get the ones you stick on the outside, not mount in the felt window channels. I lost both of mine on the interstate cracking the windows for a smoke.
