Which intake should I buy for all around performance for my 400 with an Edelbrock 750cfm carb; the Edelbrock Performer 400(dual plane), Edelbrock Streetmaster(single plane), or Weiand Action Plus(dual plane)? Any comments welcome.
Thanks in advance.

I have a Weiand Action + on my '78 400. I've never had a different kind so I can't really compare but I have no complaints about my intake. A buddy of mine had an Edelbrock intake on his 400 and his seemed stronger than mine although mine seemed to have more torque than his. I would vote against the Edelbrock carb. I started out with one of those and I was very dis-satisfied. It was not at all suited for off road. Way too sensitive. I understand you can get an off road needle and seat but I just sold it and bought a Holley and have been happy ever since. Just giving you the info I have, best of luck on your decision.
