Talking Hello All

Well It's been a while since my last post on here been really busy with work and other stuff. But since I last posted here I have done some modifications to my gallery I reordered it and I also added some new Pics of the engine. I did some chrome modifications to it to dress her up a little too. I would like to do more so if anyone has any Ideas that won't break the bank LOL let me know I do know that I am planing on getting a new top radiator hose I would like to find one that is either blue wire mesh or the aluminum/Chrome wire mesh if anyone knows what I am talking about and has any Ideas Please let me know. The Pics I took the new chrome are kind of crappy cause it was done with my Camera Phone. I am planning on taking more though soon with good digital camera but hopefully everyone will see it pretty good though. Well Like I said any Ideas that can be thrown my way would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

KILLER PAINT JOB !! Did you do paint and body work? Ether way its a beautiful job. Hats off to you. Most shops in my area wont do " an old truck " there backed up with insurance work. And the few that will think I'm Jay Leno and price accordingly.
Please please don't take this as criticism. Just a related story.
I also did the dress up with the edelbrock chrome EXPOSED paper element air cleaner. One hot summer day the crab float stuck and flooded - back fired through the carb and caught the paper air filter on fire. Minimum damage to wires and blistered paint.

Moral of the story It don't mater how shinny it is if its on FIRE.

Well glad to hear from ya; I guess i know what you mean by too busy at work to spend time on the web. I guess I'm lucky; I usually do most of my time on the site at work.
Truck continues to look great; can't tell by new pic's if you done any detail work on your exhuast. I recommend the eastwood product for painting manifolds. I painted mine several years ago and they still look great.
I like the solid black hoses; but there's several auto suppliers that sell the dress up kit for braided hose look. hope this answered your question on that subject William.

Keep us posted.

Mitch

Thanks guys for the compliments hey henry.509 believe it or not when I bought the truck that is exactly how I bought it. The guy I got it from had taken good care of it over the years he kept in a garage I guess. He said that he had it repainted about six years ago. So I haven't done anything to the exterior of the truck since I bought it last June except washing and waxing it. I am also the second owner of the truck as well. I consider myself pretty fortunate for this. Not to mention I got a super deal on the truck as well. Again thanks for the compliments guys, and keep the ideas rolling in I am actuall planning on putting some aftermarket Manifolds later on when I get some more money acutally that's the next thing on my agenda for the truck so hopefully that will make that look much better. Thanks again guys Later

Interesting how the roof paint line is. I can't say I've seen it like that before but it looks better than the door/roof separation method if you aren't going for the whole-body two tone.
