The only problems I have had are bolt on items. water pump, alt. leaking turbo tubes, and a broken tube on front of motor. I have 240,000 and use no oil with all the horsepower my stock tranny can take. I once replaced turbo with stock and it was worse than original so it is back on truck.

I think your truck is going to be fine. Might want to check out some grammar classes at the local community college though...

It ain't all that hard to do it right. I did not even finish high school. After football season of my senior year, going to war with the Marines sounded like a lot more fun than wearing a cap and gown. I've just done a lot of reading in my life, I do not use a spell checker, although I would if I had one that worked, but I do most of my posting via AOL which offers no such option. Reading I think is the most important class in the school of hard knocks. Video games are what is destroying the youth of our country. A lot of good that's going to do you in life.

Mark, download Mozilla Firefox as your web browser. It will be a lot safer than internet explorer for you as far as viruses and spy ware and it has a spell checker built right in. You can make it look and work very similar to explorer so the learning curve will be almost zero. I bet you will like it better.

Yeah, but it won't catch the important stuff, the stuff that really bugs me. Such as Your, or You're-----There, or Their-----etc. etc.....Show me someone that does not know simple stuff like that, and I will show you someone that is a killer with the joy stick in a video parlor. None of my children, all 3 of them combined have not spent 5 bucks in their life times on that crap. The oldest is 42, the youngest 31. They all thank me for it today, and all make over 100k a year.

Please do not think I'm picking on you. You are if anything in the majority of the internet posters, not the minority. But I truly believe reading interesting books is the key to good grammar and spelling. It can be something as simple as good murder mystery books. Just read and pay attention to what you're reading. Comparing the spelling of everyday words and grammar you use in your everyday life.

If no one cares I'm going to correct this simple sentence.

<TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=4 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR><TD class=alt2 style="BORDER-RIGHT: 1px inset; BORDER-TOP: 1px inset; BORDER-LEFT: 1px inset; BORDER-BOTTOM: 1px inset">Originally Posted by muddingmcdude

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Lol, I haven't touched a video game since I was 16 and I'm 22 now.

See? Simple..

While we're on this topic another good trick to help you become a better speller would be to use the CC function on your television. There are some errors there, but they are far and few between.

Back to the truck...I wouldn't worry about the mileage as much as I would the abuse...My 7.3 has 225,000 miles and runs and looks great. I've had minor bolt on problems in addition to working on the front end a few times to keep her pointed straight.

Thanx for the switch back to the PSD subject. Mine is at 205,000 and except for the bells and whistles the newest ones have I'm as happy with mine as if it were a brand new one. I've never owned a more dependable vehicle in my life. My biggest woes have been transmissions and are probably the result of my chip.

i've only had minor problems also
cam sensor
my driver side caliper is hanging up ounce in awhile (havn't fixed it yet)
clutch pressure plate
also i think it needs a alignment but i need to fix the rough country spring sagging issue first
i also need my work truck (95 ranger) put back together since salt and potholes took care of the spring hangers and shackles waiting on spring bushings

Anyways, I've only got about 80,000 miles on mine. About once a month, we go to a squaredance festival that requires pulling my 11,000lb 5th wheel over the mountain(s). That's as exciting as it gets.
