need better explanation of the problem.

What losses power?
Do the RPM's go up dramaticaly?
What happens after it "losses power"
What do you have to do to restore drive condition?

If the RPM's dont rise sharply the tranny isnt slipping, remove the bank #1 upstream O2 sensor and road test, if it runs ok, the cat is plugged(need to replace).

You should have had a cat code by now, but sometime it doesnt trigger..

Report back... P

Another test for the cat, get up to running temp, and using a non contact infrared temperature guage, test 2-4in in front of and after the cat, if the cat is working well the rear reading should be significantly hotter (40-60deg). This test has to be performed with the engine hot and running.

Carefull, dont touch the pipe....owie!
