hey i have a 1986 bronco with the factory 351w(factory holley, not EFI) and C6 tranny. when i go to pull out somtimes it will sputter, maybe bogg down a little, and almost die, but it does keep running. if i get on it hard it dosnt do it so much.... whats wrong... timing????... carb ajustment?????
I haven't worked on a Bronco in a LONG time, but I would guess something with the fuel system (filter) or timing.
EDIT: Scratch that...Don't think fuel FILTER...maybe something with the carb or pump. Does it do this all the time, or only when you pull out of your driveway/wherever when the engine is cold? Also, when did this problem start?
it does it mainly when pulling out, but not always. it sounds great in the top end and mid range, and i rebuilt the fuel bowls on the holley already.... im thinking it may have somthing ti do with the front bumper gettin clipped a while ago(no major damage, just a nasty jolt and the front end went out of alighnment)
