I was just wondering why it is that the EBPV in our trucks closes when it shouldn't. Before I disconnected mine it would go on all the time while I was driving. It never used to do that and I was just wondering what caused it to start acting up all the sudden.
Here is a wiring diagram of the EBPV system. https://www.ford-trucks.com/faq/9497.../ecsd/epr.php3
There could be a problem with any of those sensors. However, most likely it's just giving you a hard time! Just disconnect the thing, be running in NH=cold for a while and no problems.
Thanks Ya i already have it disconnected I was just wondering why it acts up in case there was a relatively easy way to fix it. I like how fast it warms up when it's working properly but it's not a big deal to not have it working.
