Door speakers

I blew my door speakers in my 03 f150 king ranch and i know the king ranch has like a upgraded stero package with them but i dont know what it is. Which speakers should i go with so i can have better then what the stock speakers were?

Pioneer 3way 6x8's sound really good for the money. Walmart has them.

i also have the wally world pioneers, they are made to fit into the fords, which is nice since you dont have to drill any holes.

i put polk db570's in mine.....nice warm sound...even from a non-prem factory system...very happy with them...i'm sure there next level series will be that much better.....these took time to break in...about a good week....

just replaced mine this weekend, I switched to round speakers... IMO you get better sound out of a round speaker anyday...

crutchfield usually includes the speaker plates for free when you buy a set.

I just recently put pioneer 4 way speakers in my truck. they sound real good.

pioneer are nice because they stand behind there work if you blow one you can just take it back and get another but it all depends on the money you want to spend

Got Kickers in my truck as well. Same model. While they have the best highs and mids on the market (for the money, that is), they lack much bass. I installed an amp and subwoofer to compensate with an Eclipse CD3100 head unit. Great head unit, btw, especially for those looking to install a sub because it has built-in crossover. I think it cost $250 or so.

I have an Alpine 9870 head unit.My Kickers bass response is great with this unit.I'll soon be adding a Kicker TC-10 sub with an Alpine amp behind my seat.

The wally world pioneers are good, and well worth the money, but your local stereo shops probably have better ones in stock.

I have the pioneer 6X8's too with a 600 watt amp behind them. They have held up well.
