I got a 3 on the three trany(for free) out of a 73' or so F-100 that is in really good shape other than it needing a couple of gaskets replaced. And at an auction sale i was able to purchase a hurst floor shifter($15) conversion for the three speed. Now i was wondering how well will this tranny work with the clevo describe below? I am wanting to know cause i would like to save $500 and avoid a c6 rebuild.

The tranny the shifter conversion is on is the same tranny just a different bellhousing(its off a 360) i'm just wanting how well the tranny will work with a clevo.

If it's a Ford box, the design is basically the same as a toploader. Mine has a 2.99 1st gear and I beat the crap out of it in a heavy Galaxie.
I'm not sure what you mean by the 360 bell housing.
The tranny with the shifter conversion came off a 360 or 390 and the bellhousing(bolt pattern where the tranny bolts to the motor) won't fit a clevo.
