Questions

I'm planning on adding a leveling kit soon.

What is the largest tire that will fit on the stock 18x8 rims?
Any issues with a larger than stock tires and using a set of Duraflap mudflaps?

Thanks.

I have 275/70/r18 and mine will rub on the springs if you turn stop to stop. I have a leveling kit on it but I don't know how high it is, it had it when I bought it. Hope this is some help.

Did you mean the tires looked to short or the lift wasn't high enough?

Thanks.

Depends on what rim the tire is rated to fit more importantly. Lots of people have gone with the BFG 305/65R18 without any trouble, even though it specs for a minimum 8.5" rim. Some have used a 325/65R18(even wider). There are now some 305/70R18(essentially 35x12.50R18) tires that are rated for a 8" wide stock rim, Cepek, ProComp, M/T come to mind. Most people say that these will all fit a stock superduty. A simple leveling kit should guarantee clearance. BTW I modified my Duraflaps, now they have lots of clearance. Check the main gallery for lifted trucks....
