Hey guys, remember that buddy of mine who had the '56 for sale? He said someone came up from GA and bought it yesterday. So it's NO longer for sale! Thanks guys!!
Truxx---I should have acted on that 56....I am coming down -at least the plan for now --to get the seat for my 71 F100. Jake said we could visit if ok and since the 56 is sold --bums me out--crap!!!! Bill
Yeah, it kind of bummed me out too, since my wife says I have too many trucks now?? Blasphemy!!!!!! You can never have too many trucks!!
Yeah, bring your seat down, we'd be glad to do it for ya! Who is Jake? I got one of my buddy's '56 in here right now, doing EVERYTHING to it! He lives in Ohio too. His name is Jim Speckman. I'll post some pics when I get my wife to do it for me.
That guy was me. Tom is a great guy and was a big help. We will be picking up the rest of the parts next weekend.
This is going to be a "dark side" project doing everything myself except paint.
I will be on here all the time asking questions (hopefully not too stupid)
Truxx thanks for answering my email.
Bill
Guess I need to add the 56 to my signature
COOL man! Ask as many questions you want. Every now and then we get one right? It's your job to know when we're right or wrong? Welcome aboard!!! And YES Tom is a great guy. I bought the F350 fenders he had (dipped) I'm thinking about using them on PEGYSU? I like the fender opening up higher for more tire clearance.
Truxx---I am buying a seat from Mando Jake---and bringin' it home......Bill
Hey Bill that's my nephew. I forgot about him being on here. He's in to '79 trucks big time!! It would be really cool to meet ya, and we'd be very glad to do a seat for ya!! Do you have directions yet? Are you going to be at the Louisville Swap Meet? There are a few of us FTE'r's trying to meet up there?
I am waiting for shipping cost and will decide then what to do. I won't be at the swap meet--don't need anything now and have a trailer load to get of 56 parts down south in March. I am restoring a 71 f100 and need his seat and seems like a stand-up guy and loves you. He and I and you may meet if shipping is too much........Bill
Oh -the back and the legs and the shoulders are all bad--I am in bad shape for 50, but that is what hard work will do to ya!! Bill
