Cool is she repairable?

last night, a drunk driver plowed into my 94 f250 at about 50 mph. after all was said and done, my right bedside is history, along with my springs in the rear, with possible axle damage. i dont know if the guy has insurance, assuming he doesnt, is she worth repairing? how much is a new bed and set of springs going to cost me?

i should have pictures up soon, as soon as i can get to the impound lot shes been towed to. i love the truck to death. i already ordered a lift kit too, aint that ironic.

If it's only metal, I'd say fix it. In Arizona you shouldn't have to worry about rust in the junkyard. If the frame is bent, might be a different story.

Good luck,

Dave

Is the axle housing straight?
Are you sure?

If the frame is good then a good used box and a rear axle should be cheap to do with the right connections.

i couldnt take too good a look at her, because the police had me fillin out statements, and the fd kept checkin out my neck.

but i could see that the bed is not aligned with the cab, and the rear drivers side tire is 4" farther back in the wheel well than it should be. i was hit on the pass. side, right where the taillight is. the insurance companies are taking their sweet time callin me back, but im prepared for the worst.

i found out the other driver did have insurance, so theres a plus. i hope they repaint it, and replace all my rims, and tires. hahaha. il end up thankin the *****r after i get 3k of free work done to my truck. i wanted new paint anyway. assuming the frames straight.

If the frames not damaged, it should be repairable without too much headache. A new bed, rear axle and suspension and you should be back on the road. If the frame is bent, the insurance company is going to want to total it and probably not worth repairing.
