HELP Bigger problem than codes
OK,
so my code problem resurfaced but that's miner
compared to what I now have.
AOD trans took a crap today.
Started yesterday din't want to shift, came home
dropped the pan found metal chips in the pan. Not
gear type chips but possibly bands. Anyway changed
fluid, internal/in line filter.
Seemed to be a little better until coming home.
Again wouldn't upshift. Think I came home in drive
and slipping like a banchy. By the time I got in the driveway
I had a trans fluid trail coming up the street. Could smell
trans getting hot. Now I doubt if it will do anything.
Anybody have an old AOD around good, not good, rebuilt or
rebuilable.
Never done trans work so I'm totaly in the dark.
