wrong bellhousing ! ?

wrong bellhousing ! ?
i just got a call from dad and he took our bale wagon into the shop because another starter went out. The mechanic did a little digging and told us that we have the wrong bellhousing. He said they talked with ford and the bellhousing i got was from a car with a 351m, 400, 460. I have a truck engine, with a truck flywheel and clutch. Now im stuck and i cant find a dang bellhousing. We have called every yard in dodge city. We HAVE to get this truck back on the road and im almost to the point where i might be swapping in a 351 cleveland and the whole drive train out of an 84 150.
any ideas guys?

Is it two wheel drive or 4X4. If 2wd you could switch to a C6. Maybe more work than necessary.

superior wouldnt answer there phone. and we pretty much need a manual. the truck is abused heavily with the loads it hauls and it will spend all day going forward then backwards and forward again. (loading and unloading bales).

Stay away from crowely in Beloit... Belive ME!... delt with him a bunch, never good... I don't bad mouth businesses as a general rule but believe me... I have delt with Burell in Delphos a bunch. I haven't delt with most of the others, guy in Concordia is OK. I can start looking here in Wichita, in need be.
